Internet of Things (IoT) and workplace wellbeing - Early Bird event

Digital Northampton’s first Early Bird event on the topic of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the future of workplace wellbeing was held at One Angel Square on Friday (8th March).

Stephen Westley, director of Northamptonshire-based Iris IoT Solutions, gave a talk on how this emerging technology can be used to monitor employee wellbeing and productivity.

The event was fully booked and we were thrilled with the attendance levels.

Stephen’s presentation was followed by an open discussion about the possibilities of using IoT technology in office settings at various organisations and how to monitor use of public spaces to improve quality of life.

What happens next?

The event ran from 8am until 9am and feedback from attendees suggested many were happy with this Early Bird format. We are currently in the process of planning the next Early Bird event. If you’d like to make any comments or suggestions, please email info@digitalnorthampton.com.
