HQ&A: Tech recruitment firm shift base to innovative home of motorsport
Tech recruitment firm Stafford Sharp Associates (SSA) recently moved to an exciting new location at the heart of the Silverstone Innovation Centre.
As part of our ongoing HQ&A blog series exploring Northamptonshire’s homes of innovation, SSA’s Social Media and Marketing Executive Natasha Dhillon talks us through the company’s opening days in their new office and plans for the future.
It’s all go for SSA at Silverstone.
What were your main reasons for moving?
We wanted to move from our previous office as we wanted to be a part of a tech hub which will allow us to expand our knowledge on the latest tech.
We also wanted to be a part of the exciting changes and opportunities the Silverstone Innovation Centre has to offer.
The Centre is expanding this summer which means there will be even more networking opportunities in the future. Not to mention they hold great social events all year round!
What do you like about your new location?
Our new office is great as it has fantastic links to the M40, M1 and there are easy links for us into London as well.
There is also plenty of parking and the location is easy to get to for all of our team.
Your turn to break… There’s plenty of space in SSA’s new office to get away from the screen.
Have your new neighbouring businesses welcomed you to the area?
We have just moved into our premises and everybody has been very welcoming, especially the people that work for the Innovation Centre.
We had lots of help while we were going up and down lifts and stairs the day we moved in!
How have you made your new office feel like home?
We have coffee on tap which is the main reason why our new office feels like home!
We also have a social area which has sofas, a TV, tables, chairs and a pool table which is perfect for when the team want to unwind or have time to themselves to focus on a particular task.
Do you have any plans for the future with your new premises?
We are loving our new premises and the plan for the future is to hold more social events with the extra space and to continue to build our network.
Especially as Silverstone Park have confirmed exciting plans to expand which will attract more high-tech businesses in the future!
