Step back in time to hear their fascinating story and discover how heritage helped to create Northampton's beautiful Culture Quarter through public exhibitions and immersive multimedia utilising VR technology.

Performing Room is a charity located in the vibrant Cultural Quarter of Northampton, opposite the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery. 

Performing Room works with people holistically to help them awaken their wellbeing and potential through the power of music and creativity.

Janan Fifield is an expert in making arts accessible for children, young people and adults, including those with serious cognitive and mental health issues.

UON Goblin Academics - Arcade Machine Development for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup

The University of Northampton’s innovative Game/Interactive Media Development team, known as Goblin Academics, has been given an exciting task: to create a fun and accessible arcade machine to promote the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup. This dynamic team, composed of both staff and students, will blend classic arcade elements with modern twists to support this initiative.

Vikaas Mistry, Senior Lecturer in Game and Animation at the University of Northampton, and members of the academic team will discuss the arcade machine's early development stages. They will also share some of the unique and creative projects the games and animation team worked on with students.
